The oddest thing - inside one of the walls we found an old window pane. The old front door on the left will be removed soon, and more of the wall knocked out, opening the new entrance hall into the passageway, into the dining room. In the top left of the pic you can see where the flatlet window has been bricked up, as this will now be an entrance.
